Enrichment & Extension Activities

We are planning to offer a range of enrichment and extension activities that will take place outside the normal Academy day and will complement the curriculum that we offer. The benefit of these activities not only helps to broaden student’s experiences, but also helps to develop important key skills such as team work, confidence and self discipline which all support the development of our students into mature and effective learners. Click on the following links below to find out more about the different activities that are on offer in the different subject areas.

A major event in the Academy calendar is Enrichment Week, which offers both students and staff the opportunity to take part in a range of diverse activities. The programme has been developed to provide an end of year with a difference.

Activities range from a Year 7 camping residential, to historical visits, such as Warwick Castle and physical activities, such as the climbing wall. Year 12 students have the opportunity to support the staff in the delivery of the programme.
